IGNORANCE IS BLISS !!!!!

"An Idle Mind is the Devil's Workshop" they say. Judging by the fact that I have been sitting idly in office for the past 8 months , my guess would be that Satan has had ample time to make my mind his SEZ.......

However unlike many others I really dont regret having nothing to do in office but wait for my ever increasing coffee breaks , counting the number of times my boss' phone rings and devising my latest plans for world domination. Ok mybe the last one was taking it a bit too far but there certainly have been days when i have been forced to work out the second option. But it really isn't as bad as many people say it is. All you have to do is to let your mind take you whever it wants to and you will realize that you really are capable of thinking up a lot of bullcrap.. On one such occasion I ended up in the Mir Space Station ( isn't that what they call the Russian Space Station ) with Anna Kournikova as my co-cosmonaut.... hehehe....

Anyways my last few days of dreaming ( I prefer to call it contemplating my future steps towards success but then WTF ) have been exceedingly self-satisfying as compared to the previous couple of months. The reason - CAT results were published somewhere in Jan 1st week and I , shattering all popular beliefs and superstitions and surprising even the Municipality Commisioner of Trinidad and Tobago , managed to get calls from 3 of the IIMs. Now these IIM interviews are supposed to grill you on your Engineering Fundas and as I knew for a fact that I had learnt lotsa things during my time in college but no egineering whasoever, I was scared stiff. No longer were the idle sessions at office fun coz all the time my mind kept on reminding me that I was suposed to be studying something. I am sure it was the devil in my mind that was doing this - the idle bastard. Anyways I was not ready to give up on my Self-Assessment Sessions ( to be read as idle time in office ) so easily and I devised a marvellously ingenious technique to fool myself. I would just open up wikipedia search for some stupid electrical term and then minimize the window and continue dreaming. This way my conscience is satisfied ( at least I opened the window ) and I get to go back to my favourite past-time. But still all things said and done Idling around in office had sure lost its fun and the guilty twinge in the heart persisted.

But then now that all the interviews are done and I , with sincere help from my Interviewers , have realized that I dont know anything about anything ; Ican peacefully go back to dreaming in office.

Ihave learnt 2 very important lessons in life thanks to this grand ordeal :
1. I am an ignorant lazy ass.
2. Ignorance is Bliss.......
